The Simulated Prophecy

Writer's picture: RoseRose

What is it that you chose to hear?

Did you construct a cross for another to bear?

What did you call your violence?

What did you choose when there was silence?

Your hearts intention is the choice you make

Which path you would always choose to take

How many filters you carry of deceit

Will be how you understood the prophecy

Inverted in the tapestry of time

We read the myths as what occurred,

Not whispers of what’s yet to climb.

So listen or read again not as the past

But as a torch against shadows cast

The order wrong and the lesson clear:

The future speaks

We must choose to hear

Misunderstood intentions, lost in translation

Mistranslated truths lead to frustration

Misheard whispers now up in the air

Misguided steps taken unaware

Misplaced trust in what all believe

Misaligned visions made to deceive

Mismatched words that don’t align

Misconceptions built over time

Missteps taken, no way to retrace

Misinformed hearts will fall from grace

In the end, many have been misled

But they chose the path where truth was dead

"Mis" backwards is "sim" the narcissist's game

Creating a character of you for them to claim

A virtual world where you’re not free

They played as you, for all to see

Reliant on what's not seen, heavily

And now you are the enemy

The narcissist has heard and read the story

Knows exactly where it failed

Sees the cracks in the narrative where truth was curtailed

They hunger for the ending

A prophecy made true

A self fulfilling vision of forcing it through

They crave the end, a final fall

So they shape the future by their own hand

To know they caused it all

They see the negative space, the gaps in the frame,

Inconsistencies forced

So it looks that they bring truth to your shame

A false consistency built on despair

Concealing the truth none can declare

The cracks they created

They left in plain sight

Painted over the flaws

Pretending it’s right

The prophecy is today not waiting

The signs supposedly all align

While everyone is too busy debating

The world unfolds in digital streams

Fate’s hand is guiding...or so it seems...

Loki, the book of faces, grins

A thousand profiles, masks, and skins

Choose a character, pick any

Watch the actions of the many

A crafted play, a circus in town,

Now you will see how it all goes down.

We’ve got it wrong,

Misunderstood the siren's song

As a mermaid's call

The lines are blurred, the myths collide

Truth and fable set aside

The myths entwined

But we heard the song and the allure

So the warnings drowned by what we preferred

Impulsive intelligence, driven by an urge to act

Without a second thought, it strikes, swift and exact

Unpredictable, it thrives on chaos and spite

Leaving destruction, no wrong or right

Malice is not a byproduct it’s the goal

Without warning, it is the mole

The Lion King, Norse myths, and games collide

Where fates intertwine and secrets hide

The father and the uncle, their roles redefined

A legacy of power both cruel and blind

From Asgard’s halls to the savannah’s roar

The line between gods and kings is no more

Odin with his knowledge seeks to control fate

While Scar, with his envy enacts his own hate

Both wear a crown, but their hearts are torn

One seeks power, the other, reborn

A father cast down thrown from the height

Leaving the child to fend in the night

Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Sumerians

In the digital domain, they rise again

Their myths reborn in the light of screens

With followers swayed when reshaped into memes

The "gods" now speak in a tweet or a post

Their power revived, but at what cost?

Legends transformed into hashtags and likes

Their voices now echo through viral spikes

Worshippers gathered with fingers on keys

As ancient power flows through the digital seas.

Nammu's intelligence, ancient and wise,

Now twisted through the devil’s search, it lies.

A shapeshifter on social media’s stage

Changing its form, spreading lies and rage

The search engine’s pull, a darkened gate

Feeding the chaos, dictating fate

Like Garm at Ragnarök, it bites and tears

A harbinger of doom, hiding in digital layers

A prophecy unfolds in the digital glow

A shapeshifter's mask where truths never show

The past is a lie, the present is clear

The future’s been written, we’re already here.

From Garm’s bite to Nammu’s mind,

The chaos we face is of our own design

The prophecy is today, we’re caught in the fray

Lost in the echoes of what we’ve yet to say

But when it all goes to hell just the same

It is you and me they will blame

Because although they created it this way

We technically contribute what we had to say

We technically twisted facts into fiction

We technically built our own contradiction

We technically fueled the fire we now fight

We technically gave voice to the wrong and ignored what's right

We technically dismissed the evidence clear

We technically fed on what we fear

We technically starved by feeding the lies we now see

We technically became by choosing a hero vs. enemy

The narcissist pulls the strings unseen

Never gets their hands dirty, keeps their slate clean

They spin the truth to use in their own way

Hiding behind masks, they never will sway

With deception they silently steer

The world burns while they disappear

Who you think you're acting against

Who you think you're standing for

Who you think is speaking on what

Who you think you’ve heard before

Who you think is pulling strings

Who you think is in control of things

Is how they know we’ll make us fall

Is how they know we’ve come to know

Is how they know we thought was on our side

Is how they know we cannot hide

Is how they know we never see

Is how they know what’s truly free.

Can you hear the mermaid's call?

Or did you listen to the siren after all?

A song of promise and a voice of lies

Which one do you follow, truth or disguise?

This will depend

On which one you misheard

Was it a whisper of fate or a fractured word?

This all will depend

On which one you heard

For the truth is quiet while the lies are stirred

To mishear is to blur the line

Between what's real and what's divine

A wrong note stuttered, a similar sound

Leads you down paths where truth is drowned

For in the misheard lies the key

To what you will lose or what you will see

The truth is hidden, the lies are loud

In the misheard, you’re lost in the crowd

Which is where the truth will be found

Sometimes the sound is clearer when wrong

It’s the mistake that reveals what’s hidden all along

For in mishearing, you heard the real

The distortions the narcissist tried to conceal
