Walking on Water, The Submerged Path of Humility

Writer's picture: RoseRose

The journey of self is the foundation of your greatest service to humanity, for the steps you take to nurture love within allow you to offer the world the truest, most authentic version of yourself, and what you create from it could serve as a lighthouse for another amidst the storm that is called called healing. Even if it is just one more other than you, one more is now double of the light, a ripple of hope that grows stronger with each soul it touches, transforming isolation into connection and despair into possibility.

Imagine you are standing at the edge of where the water meets the sand, and you are looking out towards a beautiful sunset. Something in this moment comes together perfectly, it is the way the lighting hits your eyes, the vastness of the ocean in front of you, and the stillness of that moment within you where you are reminded of your sacred place and all of what you have to offer.

There is not another you, and no matter how resonating your beliefs are with those of another person, your essence remains singular. Each one of us carries a unique constellation of experiences, perspectives, and truths, making your presence irreplaceable, and making what you have to offer truly not replicable, only imitations that pale in comparison.

Your wisdom, your song, your lyrics, your art, your understanding, your intelligence, the stars you were born under, the land your feet have walked, and the tribulations you have faced all account for what you forge within yourself to share with humanity. Resonance may harmonize, but it does not replicate, it is the interplay of distinct notes creating a greater melody, and we all contribute to this beautiful orchestra in a divine symphony.

In this moment you now realize your potential, as if the sun is shining directly on you and you alone, and so you choose to walk towards its warmth.

Your first step is the stone you see in front of you, and from there the path forward can only be shown by the steps you take, and if you can quiet the sound of the voices of others and where they have walked, and listen to your inner voice that asks you to trust yourself, you move your foot forward, and beneath your foot you feel the hardness of a stone under the water that you could not see.

As you move your foot forward, you discover that beneath the water’s surface lies a stone, unseen until your faith brought it to light. Each step becomes an act of trust, not just in the path but in yourself. The water may ripple with doubt, and the air may carry the whispers of those who walked different ways, but your journey is uniquely yours.

As you walk others may follow. The light that radiates from beneath your feet may shine just enough to guide another to their next stone, offering them the courage to take their own step. And though the paths may diverge, the journey continues, each wandering traveler illuminating their unique way forward, connected by the shared light of trust and transformation.

As you walk this path alone some may create waves with their own doubt, attempting to destabilize your steps, while others may ridicule you, labeling you a demon for the courage they fear or misunderstand. And of course there will be those who exalt you as a divine angel, projecting their awe or longing for something they have yet to find within themselves, focusing on the result of your action and unable to see the stones beneath your feet.

Others may try to imitate your walk, and then will sink in trying to do so, as those stones are the result of your intentional action to live authentically and not by the standard of another.

Yet, focusing on the opinions of others, whether it be praise or condemnation, can distract you from the true purpose of your journey.

The path is not about proving or disproving their perceptions but about embracing the transformative power of each step. It’s about grounding yourself in your truth, finding strength in humility, and trusting that the stones will rise beneath your feet, whether others see them or not.

Your journey is not a performance for others but a testament to the authenticity of your becoming, and whatever it is you become, will be a gift to all.

At the heart of this journey lies humility, the quiet strength to walk forward, not for recognition, validation, or the approval of others, but for the sake of becoming the truest version of yourself.

Humility teaches you to accept the unknown and to trust in the stones that reveal themselves only as you step, and to embrace the whispers of your inner voice over the persistent clamoring of external judgment.

It is the grounding force that allows you to navigate the storms of doubt and praise alike, remaining steadfast in your purpose.

Through humility, you recognize that your journey is uniquely yours yet its light can ripple outward, illuminating paths for others without diminishing your own. In this way, humility becomes both the foundation and the gift, a quiet, enduring legacy born from the steps you dared to take.

The greatest service you will do for others is what you are first willing to do yourself, and in the home of authentic love, this self nurturing becomes the fertile ground from which compassion, healing, and true connection flourish.

You contribute your uniqueness, your perspective, your gifts, and your essence as a force that transforms the lives of those around you, and you never know when your resonance will guide someone else home.

Thank You, understood everything written, it's a physically painful truth an emotional painful truth . no other option but to apply this to the heart. Hardest to remember when constantly provoked years on end standing alone in the sand even when enjoying the sunrise and grateful for the sunset. Confident healing will happen, completely happen when the high tide comes in and wash away all those hard rocks and moves stones . Thank you for sharing
