Unsent Letters: If You Are Going To Claim My Story, Then I Hope You Use My Words

Writer's picture: RoseRose

If you are going to claim the rights to being my voice, then I hope you use my words and understand the meaning behind them.

If you are going to claim my story is yours, then I hope you remembered my name. A story without its creator is nothing more than an empty echo and a hollow narrative that lost its meaning in the hands of those who did not live it.

If you choose to take my story and remove my perspective then just keep in mind that the person behind it will continue to breathe life into it.

I’ve poured my heart and soul into every thought that I share. My essence and the core of who I am woven into the threads of my insight. I trust that if you borrow my words, you do so with respect, giving them the weight they deserve. Speak them as your own only if you understand them fully.

If you are going to use a social media profile as me, I hope you behave as I would. Every post every interaction, every message reflects who I am. I hope you at least embraced the values and the spirit that shape the way I communicate. If you speak with my voice, you must stand behind my actions, my principles, and my ethics. Don’t pretend to be me unless you can carry the weight of what that truly means.

If you are going to steal my art and designs, then I hope you use them in a way that honors the skill, creativity and the intention placed behind each and every one of them, the mood and the inspiration and the story behind every one of them, what I wished to convey behind every design that I created and what it meant from my perspective. It’s not just an image or a design, it is a reflection of my vision. If you take it, make sure it carries the value I’ve placed into it. If you are going to slap it onto a mass manufactured item put together by a poor man woman and child you have deemed less than yourself, absolutely positively roy ally fuck you. If my art or design is now a representation of your brand that is the face of extermination and now nobody knows my own passion for life and my design, you are a new level of foul that not even your ancestors are looking your way until the day you die and you will account for every single one of your insidious intentions and why it went against my very own core of love.

And if you are going to steal my wisdom, then I hope your actions align with it. Wisdom is not just something to be repeated, it must be lived. If you claim to understand it then show it through your choices, your behavior, your integrity.

Wisdom is not for the faint hearted, it demands responsibility and accountability.

If you are going claim to harboring the same intelligence I do I hope you use it in a way that is congruent with how I truly comprehend it. Intelligence is not simply a tool to manipulate or to exploit. It is a responsibility a gift meant to be applied in ways that benefit, not just in ways that serve a personal agenda. If you choose to borrow my intellect I expect you to align it with integrity, to ensure it serves a greater good, not just a fleeting moment of your own convenience.

And if you are going to claim to have the same intelligence as me then be prepared to back it up with the same depth, the same effort, and the same willingness to put in the work.

Because without that you’re nothing more than a fraud.

But when you take from me, when you choose to steal from me, it shows a lack of respect and a disregard for the work I’ve done. Those who steal don’t understand the value of what they take. They rob more than just an idea or an image, they rob the effort, the struggles, the unseen hours behind it all. They steal the authenticity and the purpose, they degrade the meaning, and they attach a new, more disgusting and degrading one. Dehumanizing what was truly meant behind the symbol, the art, the word, the message, the person, the mind, body, and soul.

So, let this be a reminder that if you choose to claim what is actually mine, do so with honor, with respect. Anything less and you are nothing but a thief and in some cases a murderous one at that.

And if you are using your own presence to be derogatory towards me, understand this, your actions are transparent. To try to sabotage me and take me down is nothing more than an attempt to elevate yourself by stomping on who you know is superior to you.

Your negativity reflects more on you than it ever could on me, and no matter how much you try to degrade me, it only proves your own insecurity and lack of your own character development by your own choice. It shows that you do not honor, love, nor respect yourself, and in that, you did not claim accountability, nor did you answer "present" when attendance is called by the one who matters most.

To love another self as your self is the golden rule of the most high law, and if you did not extend this to another self in all of what you claimed to be me, then you broke the highest law of integrity.

You cannot claim to embody my essence, my voice, my actions, or my wisdom without first honoring that truth with respect and compassion for others. Which means you honor and respect all perspectives and honor individuality on a sacred level, one where you do not seek to control, oppress, silence, or be in a competition with that of another. You understand that you are the only one walking your own path, and the greatest service you will ever do is the one which you do for yourself, because that is what you will extend to another in the form of your hearts truest intention, which is all there ever is, your hearts intentions.

To claim what is mine without living by this principle is to betray not only my work but the very foundation of what it means to live with authenticity and honor and my source of my life that is love.

When you neglect this, you violate the core of integrity and in doing so you make a mockery of everything you sought to take.

I am aware you do not take this seriously because you believe what's dead is dead. But the truth is what is truly alive in all of us cannot be stolen, nor can it be erased as it remains in the hearts and actions of those who truly understand its value.

And although you would like to see me dead and all of what I stand for can be a story for you to retell, know this, the spirit never dies, it is only reborn.

Love endures all things and love honors every creator and creation, including mine.
