If you live in a world where karma is a bitch, then this is for you:
If karma is a bitch to you, then you should have no problem being the first to get in line to face it.
I live in a world where karma manifests as inertia, a force that propels actions and consequences forward with an unyielding momentum. In this realm, the weight of past deeds creates ripples that reverberate through time, but the waves of inertia ultimately find their resolution in forgiveness. It is through the act of forgiving that I break the cycle of retribution and allow healing to take place. Instead of being trapped in a continuous loop of cause and effect, I choose to embrace the transformative power of forgiveness, allowing it to halt the momentum of negative actions and free myself from the burdens of resentment. In this way, I reclaim my agency and chart a path toward growth and understanding, rather than being swept away by the tides of unresolved trauma.
If I don't believe this, who will? If I don't stop the movement of malicious action and intention, WHO WILL? If I don't choose to love despite the world choosing to hate, and has shown me time and time again since I was a child just how much it hates me, then what would happen to us? If not one single person chose to be better, we would be in dark times. If not one parent decided to be better than theirs, what is the future of our children?
Karma is a bitch because you are priveleged enough to believe it is a form of poetic justice rather than a harsh reality that you have the luxury of not being affected by.
How do you hold a belief without holding the consequence? To hold a belief and not have it affect you is a blessing bestowed on every person around you fighting for their lives and for every life sacrificed to keep you comfortable in your bubble of where everyone gets a hit except you. Take your bitch Karma out on a date for the evening, and keep her and you far the hell away from me and everything I've had to fight to live for. Yes, I have had to fight to live.
You see, you’re allowed to live, yet you tell me and countless others that our lives are up for debate by your subjective moral compass. You yourself are hesitant to confront karma face-to-face because you know that would require accountability. Instead, you wrap it up in shiny paper called Sacrifice, tied with a bow labeled Karma, and place it under the Christmas tree, calling it "A Gift to Humanity."
I choose my stance. I chose my beliefs, and let the gates of hell open wide as I waltz right on in if I’m wrong, burn baby burn because I am willing to place all of my bets on me. I embrace the consequences of my beliefs and actions, ready to stand firm in a reality where the fight is real, and the stakes are high, because it is my life I am willing to stand up for. I reject the notion that redemption sits on the shoulders of another. I face my own consequences and embrace the lessons that come from my tribulations.
In a world that often seeks to externalize blame, I reclaim my agency and forge a path toward authenticity, knowing that my journey toward redemption is mine alone to navigate. I reject the notion that you should be maimed or die, because you should be allowed to live, even if you do not reciprocate that belief towards me.
If karma is a bitch to you, then you have not met me. It is in my own authenticity that I am alive, I was born in the fire and so I became the flame, and those who play with fire will get burned.
No one will answer for my regrets. I will.
No one will suffer the fallout of my decisions. I will.
No one will navigate the consequences of my actions. I will.
No one will take the heat for my choices. I will.
No one will confront the truth of my mistakes. I will.
No one will unlock the lessons hidden within my struggles. I will.
Thank You🌻 I read it out loud. Absolutely powerfull.
Thank you for your showing us your true soul. It is like a fresh breath of honesty for all to feel.💏
