We must embrace our battle scars. Some will tell us they are unsightly, and when they do, it is a reflection of their inability to tell their own story, to accept their own journey, to embrace their body and the beauty of flaws, to understand humanness at its core.
A judgement is a peak into the world of insecurities, they tell us what parts another person is struggling to accept. Insecurity hides under a thick layer of arrogance and pride, and if we are not healing, we won't be able to tell confidence and arrogance apart, and we may even become arrogant ourselves, thinking we may be above the need to heal or give our attention to working on parts of our growth.
So long as we are breathing, we have a need to learn and to grow.
Arrogance rejects parts of our story, confidence reigns us in, whole. Confidence opens doors that arrogance and pride slammed shut. We use pride to conceal our fears. Confidence is our power to embrace truth and arms us with integrity.
I hope you find someone who honors your scars. I hope you understand they exist to accommodate your will to keep going, they oblige your truth, your story. I hope you understand that to the right person, this matters.
Genuine love is true freedom. I hope you reject anyone who tries to use any part of you or your story to hurt you.
You are whole, all parts of you are worthy of love, no part of you is to be lost, abandoned, or rejected. I hope you embrace this.
Love follows through on its promise: in your dark, your light, your stoicism, your coming undone, your healing, your pain, every facet of you. I hope you let it in.
To honor our authentic selves and the soul of another, we must love in unity, mutual respect, balance, and honor.
We must be willing to go through the real spectrum of human emotions and experiences, together, unhidden. Love is not fearful, and it requires our full transparency, in fact, it demands it in order to be called love.
Our love is capable of healing just as much as it is capable of hurting. It will be aligned towards better. It will grow with us, it will elevate us, and many times it will do so indirectly, gently, and other times, it will shake us awake, and call us back home to authenticity.
Love requires no possessive label or formality, it just is, the way that it is, and it is free.
That is so beautiful 🎯🎯🎯
