Identity Politics Begin As Soon As We Stop Saying "I Am" And Make Consistent Claims of "You Are"

Have we not learned from the Holocaust that silence in the face of injustice only paves the way for history’s darkest atrocities? Slander does not seem like a big deal, until it fuels hatred, dehumanizes individuals, and sets the stage for the same horrors we've promised never to repeat. It may seem harmless but it’s the spark that ignites division, turning whispers into the weapons of tomorrow. People do justify their hatred when they believe they are right, turning intolerance into righteous conviction and erasing any moral doubt.

You don’t know the reason behind someone slandering, so by staying silent, you could be enabling a full scale attack on truth, justice, and an innocent life.

Identity politics began when we no longer took the initiative to be present when attendance is called for ourselves every day, and instead we utter someone else's name instead.

You see, identity politics never ended, it is simply taking a different form until we take the initiative to set the tone on being committed to being a healthier version of ourselves by breaking the cycle, and to stop imposing tyranny by way of social acceptability, regardless of what you believe is right, you stand with violence when you call it anything else, which means you perpetrate it so long as you give it a different justification, a different name.

You see, you and I should be able to argue and it does not change how I stand firm that you should be treated with absolute dignity and respect with a right to your domain. Nothing wrong with a belief, but when one is to oppose another side with pure hypocrisy and implement that belief into policy, I have lost all respect when the argument is silenced, and I believe this is worth standing up and speaking for no matter what side we stand on.

Most can't even stand the way visceral truth sounds and feels leaving their lips, so they tell you to close them or you are being derogatory. If you stand for the implementation of perpetuating a cycle of abuse and support malignant narcissism by calling it something different, then that in itself is derogatory.

When you hear someone talking about someone other than self, it should trigger you to begin questioning the speaker. Don’t just absorb information, challenge it, and ask yourself: What story is being told and how do I relate to it? How am I involved now?

How can one be angry at how someone identifies when one can’t even identify the trauma one perpetuates? These are 2 sides of the exact same coin fighting against itself, the truth is in the middle.

2 sides of the same coin and the only truth in the middle is the one you are willing to speak of yourself and not of another. The only truth is what you are willing to put yourself through, not that of another. The only truth is the accountability you take when you answer I am, and not "you are."

It kicked off when cultural, racial, or ideological differences started to matter more than basic values like equality and human rights. This gave people a free pass to justify anything, actions, beliefs, or policies, just because it served their group, no matter who got hurt in the process. It didn’t just split communities; it twisted the idea of right and wrong, making everything about identity and loyalty rather than accountability or what’s actually just.

Identity politics continued when you traded the word murder for sacrifice, the word for pedophile for homosexual, you didn’t just alter language, you reshaped entire narratives, demonizing an innocent group to redirect societal fear and moral outrage. All to avoid accountability of enabling abuse then got angry at the scholars for calling it the proper terms.

Identity politics continued when we no longer identified with the truth of what happened and instead chose to call it something else. It began the moment the reality of injustice was replaced with a narrative that suited the group’s comfort or agenda, when:

betrayal became "loyalty,"

violence became "protection,"

and murder became "sacrifice."

And we changed the name of the victim, had social accounts running like wildfire to tell a different story in order to hopefully justify the murder.

And expected them come back and redeem your guilt because you asked for salvation.

And then we told our men and women that this is exactly how we behave as a society and especially in a family.

And those men and women continue to identify it as a sacrifice.

And then get angry at me for calling it the proper term: murder.

And then got even angrier when I doubled down on not backing down from advocating for a victim of abuse and atrocious gang violence.

And then absolutely lost it all together when I told you I would take him down from the cross myself as you all stare and watch.

And then took me down for not complying with community standards because I was promoting "hate speech."

I'd rather be blaspheming than worshipping something that doesn't challenge me to think.

I'd rather be blaspheming than pretending to believe in leadership that punishes curiosity.

I'd rather be blaspheming than playing along with a charade that destroys integrity.

I'd rather be blaspheming than kneeling to a system that demands my silence.

I'd rather be blaspheming than living a life of blind obedience that could potentially get someone killed. Before I ever sit silent as someone is slandering you, it will be me that goes first before I compromise my integrity in honoring yours. But now we know how easily many are lead. At least we are clear here about who is really dangerous in the perpetration and enabling of abuse and violence. So, identity politics continues when you are violent and calling it righteous.

Identity politics continued when they cannot even accept their violence and call it by its name, yet they are angry with those who change theirs, yet, you guessed it, they changed this mans name to Jesus, and for all we know, they changed his gender too. Classic projection, exhibit A.

Identity politics continued when you chose to sit idly by because "it's your family." It took root when personal loyalties or fear of conflict outweighed the truth, and collective narratives became more important than individual accountability.

"It’s just the way things are here": Excusing harmful traditions or behaviors in your community instead of questioning their morality.

"I don’t want to get involved": Turning a blind eye when someone was unjustly accused, harassed, or excluded.

"They must have done something to deserve it": Believing gossip or smear campaigns without seeking the truth.

"It’s not my place to speak up": Staying silent as someone manipulated a narrative to destroy another’s credibility.

"It’s for the greater good": Rationalizing the sacrifice of justice and integrity to uphold the interests or image of a group, cause, or leader.

Each time, the decision to prioritize comfort, loyalty, or apathy over truth allowed injustice to grow unchecked, feeding a culture where identity overshadowed ethics.

By renaming the truth, the weight of accountability shifted, and the innocent became expendable for the sake of preserving a collective identity. This disconnection from reality doesn’t just distort the past; it creates a culture where lies thrive, and the truth is only as valuable as the power it serves.

By accepting a reframed narrative, you allowed the truth to be buried under layers of rhetoric, empowering the manipulators while leaving the innocent to suffer. Silence in the face of such distortions isn’t neutrality, it’s the first step in enabling a system that sacrifices justice for the comfort of collective lies.

The persecution of someone who is innocent where their entire character has been assassinated often masks a deeper truth about the narcissist behind the scenes, orchestrating their downfall to conceal their own guilt. What did that narcissist do that they so desperately don’t want exposed, that they’ve twisted reality and brought an entire community against one person? Perhaps it was a hidden corruption, or an act so reprehensible that they needed a scapegoat to deflect attention: like abuse of a child, rape, assault, or whatever could damage the mask a malignant narcissist wears.

"Murder" vs. "Sacrifice":

Murder is an objective term tied to immorality and criminality.

Sacrifice, on the other hand, implies nobility, purpose, or necessity.

This shift in language reframes violence as a necessary evil or even a commendable act, especially when tied to identity, loyalty, or cause.
